Flying Mule Farm operates a small-scale commercial flock grazes on foothill rangelands and irrigated pastures near Auburn, California. In addition to producing high quality grass-fed lamb, we focus on public and sheep producer education and the demonstration of grass-based production practices. We have established a genetic base (which includes crossbred “mule” sheep and purebred Shropshires) that thrives in a low-input, grass-based production system. We are committed to caring for our land and our animals – and sustainably produced food and fiber products.
